What Laura Mercier says about this product:
Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer is a sheer, lightweight, buildable foundation that can be worn by all skin types but especially those with acne prone, sensitive or oily skin.

I really love make-up, I own a lot of make-up, the only thing I don't like: foundation. I don't like foundation for several reasons, first of all I can never seem to find a colour that matches my skin perfectly. Secondly, liquid foundation makes my oily skin look way too shiny and somehow I don't like the way most foundations feel on my skin. I've heard amazing things about this product and when I was in Selfridges in London I stopped by the Laura Mercier counter to test it. The make-up artist was very helpful and showed me which shade I needed and showed how natural it looks on the skin. Although this product is very expensive I decided to buy it anyway, because I knew I would regret it if I didn't.

Ever since I bought it I've been using it on a daily basis. The make-up artist told me that I didn't have to put it all over my face, I could just apply it to the areas that needed some coverage. As you can see on the pictures the moisturiser is quite pigmented and it gives me just the right amount of coverage, for the really red areas I still need to use a concealer though. It applies smoothly to my skin and blends in perfectly. The colour Sand is a perfect match to my skin and it looks so natural, if I just use this you can't tell I'm actually wearing make-up. I only use just a little bit every day, around the amount you see in the picture above, so I think this tube is going to last me quite some time. I apply it to the areas of my face that are a bit red and blend it in, if there are some problem areas that are still visible I apply some concealer, then I set it all with my MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural. I absolutely love this product and for me it is definitively worth every penny.

Would you you spend this much money on a tinted moisturiser?

  1. Zo te horen (en ook een beetje te zien) is 'ie erg goed, maar 33 pond is wel een smak geld.. Misschien later, als ik werk dus!
