What Lush says about this product:
To make this soap gentle enough for use on the face, we cut down the amount of soap in it and replace it with other ingredients to help the skin. This makes a mild soap that is great for both face and body. First we start by making a chamomile and marigold infusion, for its skin cooling and calming properties, then we add pink calamine powder to create a thick clay. When Lush first started up, many years ago, we had no name and ran a competition for customers to name the company. Obviously the name Lush won the competition, but there were many other great entries that we have used as product names. Fresh Farmacy is one of those.

I've already tried different products from Lush but I have never tried a cleanser, there's a first time for everything so I bought the Fresh Farmacy Cleanser. Lush never disappoints me, and this time is no exception. You need to know that I have very sensitive and oily skin and therefore I am very careful with products that I use on my face. This cleanser feels very soft on the skin and gets off all my face make-up. I still use a separate product to remove my eye make-up. It smells like herbs and if you look closely at it you can see little pieces, of what I think are herbs, in the soap. I already own this product or a month now, the reason it took so long for the review was because I wanted enough time to test the product. Well I've used it almost every day since I bought it and I really feel a difference if I don't use it for one day and start using it again. Now I try to use it every day because it really makes my skin feel smooth and moisturised. I can only conclude that I found a new Lush-favourite!

Lush Fresh Farmacy is a ''naked'' product, which means it comes without any plastic packaging, which is good for the environnement. When you buy it at Lush they will wrap it up for you in cellulose-paper, which you can see in the picture above.

What's your favourite cleanser?
